BALD EAGLE

SOLD - A Bald Eagle sculpture made entirely from piano parts.

The body is created from the turned legs of the grand piano. The eagle's wings and tail feathers are composed of piano keys.

French polished turned piano details form the texture of the bird’s legs, with the antique screws forming the talons. The beak is made from brass hinges from a grand piano lid, while the eyes are represented by action bolts on piano hammers.

The sculpture is mounted on a backing made of the grand piano lid, and the original Witton Wells London emblem is mounted beneath the sculpture and has come from the cast iron frame of the piano.

This sculpture has appeared in The Guardian, Classic FM, Bath Life Magazine, and been discussed on BBC Somerset and Radio 3.
