This sculpture portrays a Sea Bass, made from recycled piano parts.

The body of the fish is carved from the leg of a grand piano, inlaid with piano bass strings.

The fins and gills are formed from copper piano bass strings.

The fish is mounted on a piece of cast iron standard from a grand piano action, on a burr walnut plinth from the panel of the piano over a lyre base from a grand piano, surrounded by piano keys, arranged to form surrounding "seaweed".
