SOLD This sculpture depicts a Flamingo standing on one leg, made from various piano parts.

The flamingo’s long, slender legs are made from brass supports for a grand piano’s lyre, while the body is carved from the leg and lyre of the piano.

The feathers of the flamingo are made from piano keys, arranged to mimic the soft, layered texture of plumage.

The body of the flamingo is painted in a striking, vibrant coral-pink. It stands on a piece of the cast iron frame mounted on wood from the piano lid.
